Digital power of attorney

If we need to speak with your hosting provider, make changes to your systems or obtain quotes on your behalf, you can grant us a digital power of attorney in the customer portal. You decide what we may do and can revoke it at any time.

How it works

  1. Complete the details. Business, project, purpose and the suppliers, systems and accounts covered by the power of attorney. You can choose an expiry date.
  2. Choose permissions. None are selected in advance. Anything you do not select is not granted.
  3. Read and approve. You see the complete text with your choices and approve using your login and a one-time code sent by email.
  4. Confirmation. You receive a confirmation with the complete power of attorney as a PDF, and it is always available in the customer portal.
  5. Revoke at any time. With one click in the customer portal. Revocation takes effect immediately.

Permissions you can choose

  • Digital administration: Veyro may create, edit and maintain the customer’s website, domain, hosting and systems covered by the power of attorney.
  • Technical contact: Veyro may contact the named hosting, software and system providers about support, errors, operations and technical changes.
  • Data and records: Following the customer’s instructions, Veyro may create and edit product, inventory, order and job information in the named systems.
  • Obtaining quotes and information: Veyro may obtain prices, delivery times and product information from the named suppliers. This does not authorise ordering.
  • Ordering goods or services: Veyro may order from selected suppliers within separately specified spending limits and according to the customer’s specific instructions.
  • Other permissions: You describe precisely what Veyro may do.

If you select ordering, you specify a maximum amount per order and per month including VAT, approved suppliers, types of goods or services and a period. Ordering authority does not include subscriptions, recurring purchases, financing or changes to payment terms. You pay the supplier yourself unless otherwise agreed in writing.

What the power of attorney does not grant

  • Veyro may act only within the selected permissions and the customer’s written instructions.
  • The power of attorney does not grant access to bank accounts, payment cards, loans or the customer’s money.
  • It does not authorise changes to agreements or signatures other than those expressly covered.
  • It does not authorise representation before public authorities, banks or courts.
  • Veyro may not delegate the power of attorney without the customer’s prior written acceptance.
  • The power of attorney does not replace any data processing agreement.
  • The customer should give Veyro a separate user account rather than share personal passwords.

Your data

Powers of attorney can only be viewed by your own business and Veyro. You can request deletion in the customer portal. Read how we retain and delete powers of attorney.
